Speaking while inspecting major road projects in Abuja, Wike said the administration's performance in delivering infrastructure had become its strongest campaign message, adding that governance would remain the priority despite the political season.
Infrastructure Delivery to Continue
The minister stressed that contractors would continue work on ongoing projects without interruption, noting that the FCT Administration had no intention of slowing project execution because of election activities.
According to him, the administration's focus remains on improving transport infrastructure, expanding road networks and enhancing the quality of life for residents through sustained public investment.
Boosting Investor Confidence
Wike said consistent infrastructure delivery demonstrates the government's commitment to long-term development and provides tangible evidence of progress across the Federal Capital Territory.
He maintained that maintaining project momentum would ensure Abuja continues to attract investment while supporting economic growth and improving connectivity between communities.
Implications for the Housing Market
For the housing and real estate sector, uninterrupted infrastructure delivery is a positive signal for investors, developers and homebuyers. Continued investment in roads and public infrastructure can improve accessibility, unlock new development corridors and enhance property values across the FCT.
Sustained execution of infrastructure projects also reduces uncertainty for developers planning residential and commercial projects, reinforcing confidence that government-backed improvements will continue regardless of the political calendar.
