Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has assured residents that political campaigns ahead of the 2027 general elections will not disrupt ongoing infrastructure projects across Abuja. He said the administration remains committed to delivering roads and other public infrastructure as part of its development agenda for the nation's capital.

Speaking while inspecting major road projects in Abuja, Wike said the administration's performance in delivering infrastructure had become its strongest campaign message, adding that governance would remain the priority despite the political season.
